Is It Normal To Have Pain 12 Days After Tooth Extract?

i have tooth extracted almost 12 days . but still sometime i feel soreness and feel pain in that area . its not untolerable pain but it pains . i see small whole in that area and found that food get stuck there and when i clean then feel relief from the pain . is it normal to have pain after 12 days .

No it is not normal to have pain in an extracted tooth after 12 days, as primary healing takes places in 7 to 10 days, and subsides.

It can be possible that because of food lodgement in that area there is some infection had started.

Better once you should visit your dentist and get the area cleaned with the help of irrigation.
