Is It Ok To Fly With Two Fractures In Skull And One Of Them Bleeding?

Hi my nephew is in thailand and has fractured his skull in two places resulting in atleast one bleed to his brain, he is on drugs to combat the bleeding, the doctor said he is willing to sign a form for him to fly 13 hrs home to uk, is this safe to do so?? thank you

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your nephews symptoms and diagnosis.

The fitness for flying depends on the severity of injury, CT scan findings and patient's clinical condition.

The fact that your nephew did not require surgery suggests that the injury is not severe.

If his clinical condition is good, he would be fit to fly.
