Is It Only One Lymph Node That Is Enlarged After An Ultrasonud Found One Lymph Node Enlarged?
I had a mammogram show a 2 cm tumour. Also have calcification in the breast near the nipple and both sites have been biopsied. Had u/s performed for tumour biopsy. When I had the ultrasound they found one lymph node enlarged and biopsied that. The rest were normal. Can you tell me if it is only one lymph node that is enlarged will this give me a better chance of spread to bones etc or if it's in one lymph node then it doesn't matter how many are involved. Many thanks. Very anxious as have a bit of hip pain and thinking the worst.
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern, the lymph node does not found near the center of breast or near the nipple area this is presented out side of this structure if these are enlarge then the underlying pathology is responsible the spreading of inflammation of nods depends upon this pathology, hope this information helps you, take care and have good day.
