Is It Possible To Conceive While On Combutol Pyriodoxin?
hi doctor can u help me pls i am trying to conceive since pas one year and i taking medicine for TB and TSH like combutol ,Pyriodoxin ,P-zide ,R-cinex .I am so confuse these medicine i taking from last month and still trying to conceive .Is it possible to conceive while taking these medicine
You may conceive during the treatment but P-zide is not safe during pregnancy. Although pregnancy can occur during the course of treatment for tuberculosis however the prescribed antibiotic P-zide can cause harmful effects like spina bifida in the unborn child so this drug should be stopped and an alternate effective but a safer antibiotic needs to be prescribed by your doctor.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
