Hello, thnx to contact us. If I am your advising pathologist. I would like to tell you that HCG is produced by placental trophoblast in mother but it is not the only source where this is produced. there are other tumors also which produce it like some gonadal and non-gonadal tumors e.g. kidney, pancreas, liver, lung, stomach, testis, ovary, lymphomas. Your USG report is suggesting that you have polycystic ovary, means you have some neoplasm. But before we put diagnosis I would like to ask you about some other features associated with it like hirsutism, irregularity in menses which are associated with it? If you are in further querry kindly contact me Dr. Arun Tank thank you.
