Hello
Since you are TREPONEMAL TEST i.e. TPHA is positive . At this point there is no value of vdrl ,since you are about to go abroad and require specific medicine .
So please upload all symptoms , contact history of syphilis , treatment which had taken and in which stage .
Once positive , these usually remain positive for life but 15 % to 35 % of patients if treated in primary stage may become serologically NONREACTIVE in 2 to 3 years .
Treatment depend on stage of syphilis , so write down all in detail.
Hope this will help you.
Good luck.
