Hello,
Sharp shooting pain inside the vagina can be indicative of infections like
Herpes simplex,
Bartholin cyst abscess, polyps, vestibulitis, vestibulitis, aggressive sexual intercourse, hormonal imbalance, fibroid,
endometriosis, etc. You have not mentioned what pills / medicines you are taking that makes you start bleeding once you stop taking it.
Consult your GP. Get required tests and investigations done to rule out polyp, herpes, hormonal imbalance, abscess, fibroid, endometriosis, etc. Get per vaginal examination done. Get required blood tests,
urinalysis, etc., done. Fibroid and endometriosis also cause heavy bleeding and
sharp pain. You can take PPIs, to prevent gas formation. You can take Spasmol (Spasmopoxyvon) after food to get rid of pain and discomfort.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
