Is It Safe To Take Ferium Tablet During Pregnancy?
I suspect I am pregnant (about 2 weeks) but it's still too early to know. I am currently taking 2 capsules twice a day of Ferium (Each capsule contains 100mg of Iron III Hydroxide Polymaltose Complex and 550 mcg of Folic Acid) as my doctor says my blood count is low (29%). I asked him if it was safe to take this with pregnancy (Just to be on the safe side) and he said yes. I need a second opinion please...

Iron is not to be taken in the first trimester of pregnancy.
It is to be started only after 14 weeks of pregnancy.
folic acid is essential during the first trimester.
If you are anemic, you have to increase your intake of dietary iron and protein.
