Hi, I had a laporoscopy and dye test this afternoon. I had a general anaesthetic and woke up very lucid pretty much immediately after surgery. I was delighted to be feeling so well however now at 5am I am still wide awake and no drowsiness at all. Is it normal not to sleep after surgery?
HI Well come to HCM After the general anesthesia such sleep disturbances may be common in some patient but this is not frequently seen in all the patients, this comes around in few days no need to worry about this and no need to treat this condition, just relax and take this easy, hope this information helps, take care.
