Is Lazer Treatment/cauterization Essential For Cervical Erosion?

my daughter was having strong pain in her abdomen and when she went to have it checked they said she had cervical erosion and are encouraging her to have lazer treatment and then have cauterization. is this something that really needs to be done. from what i read it can heal normally.

Hi,
If cervical erosion is mild it can be healed with antibiotics.
But it seems that she might be having quite big erosion.
So they might have advised cauterization.
Along with this procedure they may go for biopsy to know exact nature of lesion.
