Is Liver Cirrhosis Incurable?
Hi welcome to health care magic.... You have liver cirrhosis.... Let me know you it is not incurable... Ultimate treatment is liver transplantation... But it is costly procedure .... You are given propranolol that is beta blocker which reduce portal hypertension so chance of variceal bleed is less ...so less mortality.... If ascites also present then diuretic can be given.... If transplantation not possible then TIPSS like shunt placement can be done to reduce portal pressure which is less invasive procedure... You have to take care regarding taking low salt diet and high protein diet... Daily early in morning take grined spinach and carrot juice.... One tsp crushed papaiya seed with lemon juice useful. Fruits more... Regular follow up done.... If variceal bleed occurs immediately contact doctor for ligation... Take care. Dr.Parth
