I have had a low blood count the last 2 years. LAst year at this time it was 2.2. Now it is up to 2.9. In 2011 my WBC was 5. I am 44 and am have premenapausal symptoms since the age of 39. I feel good. I have not had any major sicknesses. No fever. I have had hot flashes two years ago and now they have been back. Periods are every 4 months. Is this low blood count anything to worry about? Could it be related to menopause? Thank you.
The symptoms you are experiencing are all related to the perimenopausal stage/postmenopausal stage. You need not worry about your symptoms as it will settle with time. All you need to do is to take hormone replacement therapy until the symptoms will subside.
