Dairy products could worsen acne. Though it is still a controversial topic, some studies have shown that milk has hormones derived from cows and this could worsen acne. It also has Insulin like growth factors which could cause new acne. It is better to avoid excess of dairy products.
To get a clear skin, apply a gel containing 1 % Clindamycin in the morning. Apply a gel containing 2.5 % Benzoyl peroxide at bedtime. Use a face wash with 1-2 % salicylic acid. You could also get salicylic acid based peels done by a dermatologist.
Have a balanced diet with lots of fruits and vegetables. Drink upto 2 liters of water daily.
