Is My B12 Level:1000 Normal? If Not,what Are The Treatments?

The last time that my B12 was checked it was 1000. Is this normal? I have multiple myeloma and was treated with chemo, velcade. Since then I have what has been diagnosed as chemo induced perpherial neuropathy. Could my B12 level be a contributing cause? I am tired all the time. My roc is in the low normal range currently but my WBC is extremely low, Zany connection??

Hi there
This is Dr Mittal
I have read your query

Vitamin B 12 levels you have said sound normal. You have not mentioned the units so I am slightly unsure. But 1000 is definitely normal

Low WBC and peripheral neuropathy are both due to chemotherapy possibly. I dont know the exact levels of WBC so I cannot comment about that.

Peripheral neurpathy and tiredness may be due to the chemotherapy. Now there are no exact studies. But many doctors have sometimes effectively prescribed vitamin E for their patients

Please let me know the missing details for more exact response
Best of luck
