Hi Jacq F, My mind thinks in mg/dl so I needed to do a conversion to give you feedback. Current Total cholesterol 265 mg/dl, Previous – 206.7 mg/dl Current Triglycerides 97.9 mg/dl, Previous – 53.4 mg/dl Current HDL 74.1 mg/dl, Previous – 46.9 mg/dl Current LDL 171.6 mg/dl, Previous – 148.2 mg/dl Overall, I’d say your cholesterol levels are worse now than they were previously. Here are the recommendations of the American Heart Association: Total cholesterol less than 200 HDL cholesterol at least > 40, ideally > 60 LDL cholesterol at least less than 130, ideally less than 100 Triglycerides less than 150 Your total cholesterol has increased, your triglycerides have increased, and your LDL cholesterol has increased. The only positive improvement is an elevated HDL cholesterol. Here are a couple posts you may want to review to help pinpoint the reason why your levels are going up: How to Lower Triglycerides - http://www.lisanelsonrd.com/blog/triglycerides-how-to-lower-triglycerides Lower LDL Cholesterol Diet - http://www.lisanelsonrd.com/blog/lower-ldl-cholesterol-diet-%E2%80%93-step-1 All the best, Lisa Nelson RD http://www.lisanelsonrd.com
