Is Nausea And Tingling Of Feet Side Effects Of Propranolol?
I have had chronic insomnia since August 2011 and in September was given Mirtazapine 15mg per night. In November I was prescribed Propranolol for palpitations (normal heartbeat but thudding hard) which only happened when I lay down in bed and it stopped me from getting to sleep. In December I started getting palpitations during the day, so I started tapering the Mirtazapine thinking it could only be this, and stopped it 3 weeks ago. My palpitations have gotten worse and so has my insomnia, averaging 2 hours of sleep a night . Could the palpitations be a result of withdrawing from Mirtazapine or lack of sleep? I m also experiencing nausea and tingling feet and wondering if this could be side effects of the Propranolol. I m so tired and confused.

Is Nausea And Tingling Of Feet Side Effects Of Propranolol?
Hi, You should check your blood pressure blood sugar. Firstly, if high blood pressure can cause this also. Please consult a cardiologist for proper because Propranolol causes hypotension along with lowering heart rate and mild difficulty in breathing. Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Rakesh Bhatty, General & Family Physician
