i have been prescribed naxdom for migrane but I had one yesterday night and another this morning and another after lunch but headache still persists, so I took an ecosprin75 and now feel slightly better, whats happening? Doc told me to take grandem if Headache persists. Pl advise
I'm sorry to hear about your headaches. I suspect that you are having a migraine that was not fully treated, and therefore came back, so in essence it was one headache that waxed and waned. Unless a migraine fully resolves it may resurge and become bad again. Out of the medications the naxdom is probably the best for true migraines as it contains a strong anti-inflammatory medication as well as a medication for nausea. Together they form a relatively potent migraine treatment.
Ecosprin is a relatively good good medication too. The grandem you can take for nausea associated with migraine, but it will be more effective if you take it with the ecosprin. Overall I don't think there is anything to worry about, you either had a partially unresolved migraine or a cluster of migraines. If it comes back I would recommend taking a naxdom or four ecosprin 75 mg tablets with the grandem.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
