In early March 2011 I had surgery to remove polyps from both side and also to correct a deviated septum. The doctor called it FESS surgery. I felt unbelievably great for 2 months during the recovery. However in early June I started getting congestion on only my right side. Sometimes, when I stand up fast, it will clear itself for a short period of time. As requested by my doctor I have been using Alkalol to keep the sinus moist. Is this common after FESS? Any idea what may be causing this? I am growing concerned that I may have polyps growing back, or that there are other issues that were not addressed by the surgery. I appreciate any advice that you can offer. Thanks.
