Is Pain In Lower Left Side A Symptom Of Another Hernia?

I had a colon resection a year ago then had an incesional herna due to the resection. I am now experiencing pain again on the lower left side. Do I have another herna? It has been waking me up at night and right before I have to go to the bathroom it tends to hurt alot.

Thanks for the query.
If I were your doctor I would suggest you to take an Ultrasound Scan to conform diagnosis. Hernia is not the only one that can cause lower abdominal pain. A kidney stone, Gall Bladder stone, Urinary tract infection etc will be having the same symptoms.
Consult a radiologist soon.
