Is Possible To Jog With Left Ventricular Hypotrophy?

I have been recently diagnosed with left ventricular hypotrophy. i m schedule to see a cardiac specialist in August. Wondering if I m able to go jogging with this condition. the doctor told me that my heart is enlarged, the side that pumps out for oxygen, beating slow,

Dear patient,

Thanks for your query. Isolated left ventricular hypertrophy should not be a contraindication for exercise, particularly if it is related to elevated blood pressure over time. However, there are certain conditions that are associated with an enlarged heart, such as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, in which exercise precautions may be recommended; until you have your full evaluation, if you proceed to exercise, make sure you are always in company of someone healthy in case a medical alert needs to be given, to play on the safe side
