Is Pregnancy Possible Due To Unprotected Intercourse?

I have just started taking birth control (Nortrel 7/7/7) this past month (so a whole packet) and got my period during the sugar pills. I had sex on the last day of the white pill (period had stopped) and it was unprotected. I forgot to take the pill the next day (start of new pack) and took two the next day to make up. Is my risk of pregnancy high?

Hi there, I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1 ) First of all do not panic.

2 ) As per your history, you had unprotected sex activity on the last day of the white pills.

As the active medicine pills have already prevented egg formation, there is no chance of pregnancy.

This is totally safe period and there is no risk of getting pregnant.

3 ) Please continue taking your next pill pack regularly without missing any pill.
Also start on Tab Folic acid and Vitamin B 12 on daily basis along with your birth control pills.
