Is Severe Bleeding And Clots Normal After C Section And When Will Stomach Be Normal?

TWO WEEKS AFTER MY C SECTION I STARTED BLEEDING REALLY BAD AND HEAVILY. I PASSED HUGE CLOTS AND HAD TO GO BACK TO THE HOSPITAL. I WAS IN A LOT OF PAIN. I ENDED UP HAVING TO HAVE A D & C SURGERY. IS THIS NORMAL? ALSO WHEN WILL MY STOMACH RETURN TO IT'S NORMAL COLOR. I AM AN AFRICAN AMERICAN FEMALE.

hi it's not normal to experience heavy bleeding with clots after a c section to the extent that it required a d and c. what sounds from your history is that you could possibly have had secondary pph due to some retained bits of placenta . the abdominal skin becomes normal within 6 weeks . all the best take care.
