Is Severe Burning And Stabbing Pain In Breast Area Normal After Clavicle Injury?

On December 12 I broke my clavicle in a severe car accident. Since that date everything is been going okay. I've not had surgery and recently within the past two days I'm waking up with severe burning and stabbing pain in the breast area is that normal after a clavicle injury?

I do not think that clavicle fracture is cause of this sharp pain.May be you have sustained rib fracture also which you may not have noticed that time. Is it hurting you when you lie down on that side or when you cough or sneezes. I would recommend you to get X ray of your chest to confirm this diagnosis. Pain killers like brufen, local heat application, diclofenec gel can help you.
