Is Slight Fever In The Evenings After Angiogram Normal?
My mother just had an angiogram (femerol artery) 2 days ago. Felling fairly well with some leg and buttock pain that has gone away this evening after using a warmed rice bag and staying on the couch. The entry site is clean and not swollen, not red. My concern is that this evening she says she has a slight fever (between 98.6-100). Advice?
If she is having problems with fever and/or chills; increased pain, redness, swelling, or bleeding or other drainage from the groin injection site; or coolness, numbness and/or tingling, or other changes in any parts of your body please talk to your doctor immediately. A single episode of fever that is not continuous for more than a few hours (3 to 4) is acceptable but if fever recurs then you must take medical attention.
