Is Stomach Problem And Indigestion Side Effect Of Meth Smoking?
I am 25 yrs old. I smoked meth for about a year between 2006 and 2007. In the second half of 2007 I started experiencing stomach pains. It was much worse back then but now I notice if I have gone to long with out eating it hurts. It feels like pressure right behind my belly button kind of like a fist is squeezing my stomach inside. So I have been dealing with this for some years now. I m often told its acid or indigestion but I do not think that is what it is, nothing burns. It hurts before I eat and after.
Hi, You have a perfect match of symptoms for peptic ulcer disease. As you believe, acid need not always burn!! it can ache, drag and squueze. The cramps you feel are caused by empty peristalisis in an empty gut. Smokingmeth is known to produce peptic ulcer disease and could probably explain the cause of your background peptic ulcer disease. Try to keep your food habits within time and avoid long gaps, inter meals. avoiding alcohol, smoking and spicy hot foods will further help in quick recovery while antacids could give you dramatic symptomatic relief. all the best.
