Is Swelling Of Hands Normal After A Bypass Surgery ?
my father s bypass surgery successful on 26/03/11. But both hand swelling is there. artery is taken from left hand. What is reason behind it,? Is it normal occurrence?

Swelling of limbs in a heart patient should be considered serious and get evaluated.This could be edema due to poor functioning of heart pump.
The signs of poor functioning of heart can be breathlessness , breathlessness on walking , chest pain , cough ,& / or swelling of limbs , dizziness .
