Is Termination Of Pregnancy Advisable If The Fetus Is Having Mutation In 17th Chromosome?
hi. thanks for your help.i am pharmacist. i have a problem. my wife is pregnant and she is in 26th weeks of pregnancy. unfortunately we have recently understood that the fetus has a mutation in 17th chromosome. so the only way that we found is abortion, i think. but because of governmental rules the abortion is legal until 18weeks. so we don t know how to solve this problem.would you help me? thanks

Actually, the rule for termination varies country to country regarding the gestational age. In India it is 20 weeks and in other contries it ranges from 22 to 24 weeks.
So, you have to depend on the rules in particular country you are residing and to proceed accordingly.
