Is The Knee Swelling And Tingling In Toe Due To Torn Meniscus?

i have a torn meniscus, and on the same knee i can see visible swelling behind the knee, and are suffering from toe tingling on the foot of the same side. Is this due to the knee swelling or mensicus or both? Secondly, do i need to get it drained or schedule surgery?

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
This can be a backer cyst and it can be due to meniscus tear. Joint fluid drain through meniscus tear outside joint and then it forms a cyst. I would suggest you to get a MRI to check if there is swelling with fluid. I would recommend you to get Arthroscopic menisectomy done.
