Is There A Possibility Of Cancer Due To Uterus Thickening (27 Mm) And Vaginal Bleeding Only After Vaginal Ultrasound?
hi i'm 47 years old and i had vaginal ultrasound and i was told that I have thickening of the uterus 27mm. i don have abnormal vaginal bleeding but after the ultrasound i started to bleed. my GYN sad that I Probably have invasive cancer and he sand me to do Curettage is there possibility to not have cancer??????
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The increase in the thickness reported on the ultrasound is suggestive of a uterine malignancy. This needs to be ruled out after curettage even if there is no irregular bleeding. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
