Angiogram is a study for vessels anywhere in the body. Sometimes, people refer cardiac
angiography as angiography so I assume you are talking about cardiac angiography.
She must be having symptoms like
severe chest pain and on ECG/echo there might be findings suggestive of a
heart attack. So, the cardiologist must have advised for an angiography to assess the status of the coronary arteries. Angiography is the gold standard investigation for assessment of coronary arteries. Can't really comment on accupressure and
reflexology but its always safer to get assessment done.
There are a few institutes which do subsidized/free angiographies. They usually have a waiting list. You can register with them. In India, there is Narayana hrudalaya, sathya sai baba hospital in bangalore does it free of charge.
