Is There Any Connection Between Elevated Fasting Sugar Level And Bee Sting?

I am diabetic type two. My fasting levels are usually o k However since last two days they are 12 instead of 6 . I was stung by a bee two days ago. is there any connection between two? I am on insulin both long and short term.

dear madam I understand your concern.there is no much relation between bee sting and sugar level.the only possibility is the stress level you might have felt due to bee string.during any stress conditions your sugars will increase and they will come to normal after stress is realived.im my opinion check your fasting levels for three days if fasting sugars are more consider increasing your long actin insulin by 2 units.....I guess this information will solve your problem....regards
