Is There Any Doctor Available To Interpret This Report?
hi I am a female and I was recently diagnosed with total Cholesterol 248 with hdl=49, ldl=178 and vldl=21. I had been a vegetarian for the last 2 years and I am surprised to see this result. I am 5.2' in height and weighs 51kgs. I also have intense itching on my right leg at night. Could these be related?
Your cholesterol numbers are slightly elevated. I advise to start making intensive changes in your lifestyle too (increase physical activity). You can repeat the test after 3 months.
If the cholesterol numbers will be as high as this last one, and you are conducting a healthy lifestyle and diet regimen, then, it might be hereditary hypercholesterolemia.
Having intense itching on your right leg is not related to high cholesterol levels. Instead, skin problems are to blame. Further evaluation by dermatologist is needed to start proper treatment in time.
Hope it helped! Dr.Sejdini
