Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns.
As per your complain Cosmelite cream is an appropriate
depigmentation formula to reduce dark spots and pigmentations and as it is steroid based it can give good results in short duration of time..
But steroid based creams can also have side effects on skin like skin thinning, increase in pigmentation, rashes, increased hairgrowth over face and dilated veins under the skin..
This is the reason that long term use is not advised..
I would suggest you to first do a small
patch test and she can apply the cream in a small patch over the inside of her forearm and let it stay for an hour..
In case if there is no reaction in 48 hours she can apply it over face..
But applying for 6 month is not advisable to prevent side effects..
You can also go for other depigmentation creams like
Kojic acid,
glycolic acid and arbutin containing creams..
Vitamin E gel can be helpful..
Exfoliating your skin twice a week can help..
Take Vitamin C and E supplements..
She can also go for
Microdermabrasion and chemical peeling..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
