Recurrent cold and cough is a sign of allergy towards some factor like pollen , cold weather , dust etc., Please identify the factor triggering your cold and cough episodes.When you have symptoms , you can have steam inhalation with eucalyptus , antihistaminics and antibiotics if there is evidence of infection.Vitamin C is found to be useful in treating cold.
I advise you to visit ENT specialist for evaluation of complaints.He may examine you and rule out few structural abnormalities like DNS , polyps .
