Is Tolfenamic Instead Of Clotan Capsules For Severe Migraine Headaches Recommended?

I usually use clotan capsules for my severe migraine headache. Now that it is not available in the market, I would like to know the name of capsules that has similar effect like clotan. Clotan composition is : Tolfenamic acid 200 mg. Please suggest me an equivalent medicine. I am from Chennai, Tamilnadu, India.

Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms and the current medication you are using.

For relief of headaches due to migraine, I would recommend naproxen 250 mg tablets or rizatriptan 10 mg tablets.

If the headaches are frequent, you can start topiramate daily to prevent the headaches.
