Is Varicose Veins A Disqualification For Military Job?
Im 19, 6'1'', 215 lbs, and have had a bowel re-sectioning, a fixed torsing testicle, and scar revision for major surgeries. I am interested in joining the military but I have some varicose veins in my leg and wondered if I will be disqualified for it? I have been cleared of everything by a civilian Dr. a week ago. I am kind of a worry wart so what I want to know pretty much is.....will the military dissqulify me for varicose veins? ( I walk 10 miles a day for my job, and run 3 miles for a workout....plus weight training on my arms)

Hi and welcome.If this doesn't limit you in daily or professional activities then there should not be problem for military duty. only severe cases with deep vein thrombosis may be problematic but varicose veins not. also if there will be difficulties,toucan always have surgical procedure to remove varicose veins.
