Is Waking Up With Rapid Heart Rate Dangerous?

Hi, I keep waking up to a rapid heart rate. Or at least I feel like this. My pulse is rarely over 100 when I wake up, but I feel as if it s 200. Been suffering from sinus tachycardia for 2 years, took Betablockers, currently on Clonazepam and Seroksat. I v visited many doctors, the only thing they came up with was that the tachy s were provoked by my nerv system. Is waking up like this dangerous, should I go see a doctor?

hi
sinus tachcardia can be due to multiple reasons,
related to the heart, (valve related or blood vessels)neuropathy, infections, thyroid variations, stress related, sleep disorders, electrolyte imbalance, severe dehydration or drug induced (bronchodilators, decongestants, brain stimulators).

it is better to get evaluated with all these causes.

if the cause is ruled out due to nervous system, you can continue with non-specific betablockers like propanolol, can be continued added with clonazepam.

multi vitamin especially methylcobalamine supplements can be of some help.

please destress yourself, maitain proper hydration, slow warming up exercises before waking up from bed.

all the best
take care
