Is White Matter Hypersensitivity Causing Delay In Speech?

My son is five years old and has severe speech delay. His MRI revealed a venous angioma in the frontal lobe and some hypersensitivity in the frontal lobe. The neurologist says that the venous angioma should be left alone. It is not causing any probllem. He feels that the delay is due to the white mater hypersensitivity. Can you please advice.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Thank you for following up. There are lots causes of delay of speech:
-genetical;
-social;
-neurological(poor blood circulation-cerebral insufficiency,poor impulse conduction in white matter);
- short frenulum (the fold beneath the tongue) can limit tongue movement for speech production;
-lack of vitamins-B12,B6,folic acid.
I suggest-
1.Nootropil for improvement blood suply of speech centre.
2.B-complex with lysin 5 ml once a day for month.
3.Exercises with speech therapist.
4.Check statement of frenulum at child dentist.
Kind regards
