Is White Stuff Like Phlegm In Throat Normal After Tonsillectomy?
Hi, my name is Vanessa and I just got my tonsillectomy yesterday morning. I realized last night and still this morning that the back of my throat where both tonsils were is covered in black with some white stuff that looks like flem. Does it go away? And is it normal?
Hi, Nothing to worry, after tonsillectomy operation there might be having soreness, induration and collection of old blood and debries at the site of operation. This will remain for 2-3 days. Do antiseptic gargles smoothly. Continue medicine prescribed by surgeon. Take light food for 2-3 days. Ok and take care.
