Itching Under Ribcage, Cold, Cough, Worsening With Age, Burning Sensation. Advice?
I have an intense itching under my left ribcage. It has happened many times throughout my lifetime and always is hand in hand with cold and bad cough . It seems to be worsening with age. Last night I was up with nonstop coughing and itching under the rib cage. The itching becomes so intense that it feels like its burning.

Do you have respiratory distress too along with that sensation you are having under rib cage ?May be you are having asthmatic attacks.Please get a clinical checkup from a pulmonologist.Get a PFT done.
For such attacks take inhaled levosalbutamol.
Are you having fever too?If you are having associated respiratory tract infection then it needs to be treated too.
