Large Welt In The Middle Of Left Glute After Stepping Into A Man Hole. Suggestions?

i have a large welt in the middle of my left glute from a fall where i was walking backwards and my one foot fell into a man hole and i fell bacwards directly onto the steel rim full weight onto my left buttocks . Im 47 . This was 2 weeks ago today and I still have direct touch pain and a large welt . If I sit down wrong or shift weight while sitting it jolts me with pain .

i advise you to take rest

donot put weight or pressure on injured site

cold massage is also helpful

you can also apply some local painkiller like diclofenac sodium on site

take some oral painkiller as well

usually it settle with time

however if pain continues then i advise you to consult your doctor for proper examination

you may need few investigations like x-ray after consulting your doctor
