Hello Dr, I am Dhanya 34 yr old & Mother of 2 kids. My 2 nd one was a c-sec & I did tubectomy immediately at the time of my operation. Now my 2 nd child is 10 months old. I have a regular periods. This month I am not getting my periods. My periods date was on 14th. Now to day is 22. 9 dys delay. I have no other health probs. No pain or any other issues. I am worried. Is there any chance of getting pregnant after tubectomy ? Pls help me.
Hello Dhanya, I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. There will chance of pregnancy after tubectomy but only when only one tube is ligated. If your both tubes are ligated then there will be no chance of pregnancy and that is the reason why government of India support this. The cause in your case may be due to stress or problems in ovaries or early menopause. Consult your gynecologist once so that they will examine you clearly and diagnose the condition. Thank you.
