Left Foot Feels Heavy And Numb While Walking. Cause?
when I walk my left foot feels like it is heavy and just plops down as I take steps. Thought it was shoes but bought some new walking shoes and it is still happening. At times it feels numb or tingly while walking and then sometimes I will just get up to walk and it feels like foot fell asleep. Not sure what is causing this and starting to get worried as I love to walk and difficult to do for long periods of time lately. I was operated 12 yrs back in my spine as i had herniated discs -- hope i have not injured myself ...
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
Since you have already been operated for herniated discs 12 years ago, the symptoms you are having might be related to the recurrence of your previous problem or age related degenerative changes of your spine. An MRI of your spine will be helpful in detecting the exact cause.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
