Leg Hit Steps. Knee Hurts While Running, Jogging, Started Limping. Should I Be Worried?
So, my knee has been hurting. I was running the mile at school & sort of missed a step & landed oddly on my right leg. since then anytime i jog, run, or walk up/ down stairs; my knee hurts. Today i ran the mile again & had to do some more running after for p.e. & by the time the period was over, i was limping. the back of my right knee & the lower part of the front hurt. should i be worried? What could it be?
Any injury of these structures can only be diagnosed accurately by undergoing an MRI scan of the knee joint.
In the mean time, follow the below mentioned steps -
* Rest to the injured part and don’t involve in activities which puts additional strain on the injured tissues. * Ice packing should be applied for about 20 minutes once in every 2 hours. * Use elastic compression bandage if there is a swelling * Analgesic & anti inflammatory medications
