Leg Injury, Painful, Swollen Toe, Numbness. Is It Broken?
Hi.a month ago i fell heavely down a step, landin my whole weight on outside of my left foot and hear loud crack. Havent been able to walk properly since.without massive pain in that area. Didnt seek medical assistance cause not sure if broken. Still swollen and walkin on big toe side cause cant handle pain ,small toe and two nxt to it are numb still but pain half way up outta side an centre of foot.. is it broken?
Hi thanks for your question.
You had a fall one month back, not able to walk and above all swollen and tender area. All these features suggest the possibility of a fracture, but can only be confirmed by x ray. Go to ER or consult an orthopedic surgeon, who may order for an x ray of injured part to rule out or confirm fracture. Further management of your problems depends upon the report of x ray.
Hope this answers your question.
