Limbic System Not Functioning Correctly. No Feelings. Diagnosed With Fronto Temporal Dementia. Dad Had Alzheimer. Related?
I am wondering why my limbic system does not function correctly. I seem to have no feelings and don't know what happened to them. I do not feel anything at weddings, funerals, sad movies, fear,hurt feelings, sorrow for others, etc. I feel empty and dead inside because I do not exhibit emotions. I have recently been diagnosed with early fronto temporal dementia and wonder if this could have anything to do with it. I am 69 years old and my father had Alzheimers before he died. Is this familial or hereditary?
