Line In Vision After Bring Hit On The Head. Concussion?

Adult son was hit with a soccer ball on the side of the head at training tonight. Didn't think much of it then and he continued training but he noticed a squiggly line in his vision that won't go away and moves like a liquid as he rolls his eyeball around. It hasn't gone away since coming home and he is getting anxious about it. Is this a symptom of concussion or is it anything to worry about?

Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

Based on the symptoms, they are suggestive of "floaters" and are usually related to eye disease, and not due to brain disease. So, I do not think there is any need to worry at present.

He should have a detailed eye check to find out the reason and get treated.

Please get back if you require any additional information.

Best wishes,
