Little Tear In The Secondary Cut During Baby Birth. Why Did It Happen ?

hi doc, i gave birth to a lovely baby boy 3 months aga, but it was a secondary cut.. im healing prety well but sometimes i still get tears..like at the moment i have a little tear.i dont know what happened perhaps its the pads i was using for my period.can i sit in betadine sollution or can i just clean it with bettedine sollution and cotton.when i sit is pains....

Thanks for the query.

According to your history I am thinking that you are talking about the episiotomy wound.
Usually the wound will heal with one to two weeks.
If you are still having the pain better to consult gynecologist once and get examined to findout the possible cause for the problem.
You can take local antibiotic and anti-inflammatory cream with her advice.
Meanwhile you can take sitz bath by adding betadine solution in the luke warm water. You can sit by keeping your legs closer to decrease pain.
