Low Appetite, Low Bilirubin And Uric Acid Level. Had Liver And Kidney Tested. Suggest Diet Plain

my son is 15 years old and his appetite is very low. I got his liver and kidney function test done. His total bilirubin is 1.7mg/dl , direct bilirubin is 0.43 and indirect bilirubin is 1.26. his uric acid result shows 7.4mg/dl . I am , as a mother, quite worried because he doesnt eat well . He is in grade 11 and has to put in a lot of hard work and I feel he has become weak over a period of time . his weight is 52 kgs and height is 5.5 f. Kindly advice me on this. also the diet plan.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
hello,
serum uric acid value is as follows
Children (ages 10-18)
Males: 3.6 - 5.5 mg/dl; some time there might be significant rise in males at ages 12-14 coincides with puberty. Females: 3.6 - 4 mg/dl

hyperuricemia,- inscrease in serum uric acid is due to
Gout
Renal disease and renal failure
Alcoholism
Dehydration
Leukemia and lymphoma
Starvation
Metabolic acidosis
Toxemia of pregnancy
Infectious mononucleosis
Hyperlipidemia
Hemolytic anemia
Excessive cell destruction associated with chemotherapy and radiation treatment
so there is no need to worry. it might be due to the pubertal stage. and slight increase in indirect bilirubin might be due to physiological cause.

as per diet. can restrict some protein diets. and have test done after 1 month
