Low Ovarian Reserve What Test Should I Do For This ?
Im a 25yr old female, 4 pregnancys, 2 miscarriages 2 ectopics, 1 tube,most recent pregnancy Nov 2010 m/c @ 5w6d. I have just been diagnosed with low ovarian reserve my level is 11.63 the fertility doc said it should be over 16 my question is what other hormones does this affect, I am going to see my GP next week and would like to know what tests i should be asking for?? any advice greatly apreciated.

ovarian reserve can be tested by amh levels. also at your age more that ovarian reserve the cause of your misscariages should be found out. you might be have an immunological cause or a an anatomical cause (uterine malformation) for which you need to be investigated. the very fact that you are getting pregnant is enough to say you have adequate ovarian reserve. your progesterone level (a week after follicle rupture) should also be checked.

Thankyou very much for your reply.
I personally am leading to progestorone my last pregnancy i started spotting at 5w4d i went to a&e the day after i had a scan a 5mm sac was seen,my HCG was 597 no free fluid everythig was perfect (doctors words) then 36hrs after my HCG was repeated it was now 236 and was told i was miscarrying i asked for my progestorone results from the previous HCG and was told it was 5,hcg-597 now i know for a pregnancy to be viable progestorone has to be over 20? I asked my doc about this and he said although id never been tested it wasnt at all a problem because i was catching pregnant this in itself indicates my progestorone was ok. I have now been seeing fertility specialists for 4years and thought my only problem was i only have 1 tube but this low ovarian reserve has thrown me. I have also been turned down for IVF because iv had 2 pregnancys in 2 years. So there not willing to help me for 12months so i now need to know where to go from here.
